INTRODUCTION

The Directorate of Admissions, Shah Abdul Latif University, Khairpur, was established in the academic year 2008–09 to improve and streamline the existing admission system for BS, BBA, Pharm-D, LLB (Four-Year Programs), and BS (Part-III) Bridging Programs. Working under the supervision and guidance of the Vice Chancellor, the Directorate is committed to facilitating prospective students and ensuring an efficient, transparent, and merit-based admission process. A dedicated team of experienced officers and staff works diligently to promote students’ welfare and provide effective admission services.

The Directorate of Admissions serves as the University's central office for planning, coordinating, managing, and executing all admission-related activities. It ensures that admissions are conducted in accordance with the policies, rules, regulations, and guidelines approved by the competent authorities, while upholding the principles of merit, fairness, transparency, and accountability.

The Directorate oversees the entire admission cycle, including the issuance of admission advertisements, online registration, processing of admission applications, generation of fee challans, scrutiny and verification of academic documents, conduct of Pre-Entry Tests, announcement of test results, preparation and publication of merit lists, and coordination with the concerned teaching departments and institutes for the timely completion of admission and enrollment formalities.

The Directorate provides guidance and assistance to applicants, addresses admission-related queries, maintains effective coordination with the Admission Committee, IT and admission portal teams, and other relevant administrative offices, and ensures the smooth and timely completion of admission procedures. It also maintains accurate admission records and monitors compliance with the University's prescribed admission criteria and regulations.
