Four research projects are completed (thesis submitted) entitled:

  1. Study of Altered LH and FSH Levels Among Women of Khairpur City using Oral and Injectible Contraceptives and its Correlation with Uro-Genital Tract Infections (completed)
  2. Antibiotic Sensitivity and Resistance Patterns of Salmonella typhi from Clinical Isolates of Khairpur District (completed)
  3. Antigenic Variation in Clinical Isolates of Bordetella Pertussis: A Comparison with the Vaccine Strains (completed)
  4. Prevalence of Hepatitis “B” Virus Among Indigenous Risk Groups, Surveillance and Studies on Virus Antigenic Drifts (completed)

 DRC also provide assistance and placement to undergraduate and post graduate students of Departments of Microbiology, Zoology, Biochemistry, D-Pharmacy to conduct practical related to diagnostics.

A diploma course for “Diploma in Diagnostic Laboratory Technology (DDLT)” has been approved by board of studies meeting held on 28-1-2010 and 10th Academic council meeting held on 01-3-2010 vide notification NO. AC-II/SALU/KHP/305 dated 19-3-2010.
