Introduction
Shaikh Ayaz is a great name in Sindhi Poetry of this period. In recognition of his work
Shaikh Ayaz Chair was established in 1998. Three National Conference on Shaikh Ayaz have been held in 2000, 2003
and 2007.
Annual Anniversary on 28th December is celebrated Annual every year at Bhit Shah,
in which delegation of Chair participated regularly.
Three research scholars have done M.Phil on Shaikh Ayaz under the guidance of Dr. Malik Nadeem & Dr. Adal Soomro and two candidates are doing M.Phil and Ph.D., many others proposal are under our consideration.
Our worthy Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Nilofar Shaikh takes most interest in the progress work of Chair. We are encouraging young scholars.
PC-I of the chair is sent to department of culture and Tourism, Govet. of
Sindh for consideration. |
