In a bid to strengthen global academic ties, Dr Yousuf Khushk Meritorious Prof. Vice Chancellor of Shah Abdul Latif University, recently held high-level meetings with the Consul Generals of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Turkey in Karachi.


The discussions, held separately with H.E. Dr Bakheet Ateeq al Remeithi Consul Generl of UAE and H.E. Mr. Cemal Sangu Consul General of Türkiyè focused on enhancing academic, research, and cultural cooperation between the university and the two nations.

The meetings explored potential partnerships in Academic exchange programs for students and faculty, Joint research initiatives in science, technology, and social sciences, Cultural exchange programs to promote mutual understanding, Capacity-building projects for skill development and Community outreach initiatives to support education and social welfare.

Prof. Dr. Khushk highlighted Shah Abdul Latif University’s academic strengths and its commitment to fostering global partnerships.
Both Consul Generals expressed enthusiasm for future collaborations, emphasizing the importance of educational diplomacy in strengthening bilateral relations.

These engagements mark a significant milestone in Shah Abdul Latif University’s mission to become a hub for international academic cooperation. By building bridges with UAE and Turkish institutions, the university aims to enhance research opportunities, cultural diversity, and academic excellence for its students and faculty.
