Shaikh Ayaz
is a great name in Sindhi Poetry of this period. In his memory and work Shaikh Ayaz
Chair was established in 1998. Two National Conference on Shaikh Ayaz have been held in 2000 & 2003.
We celebrate Annual Anniversary on
28th December in every year at Bhit Shah. Three research scholars have done
M.Phil on Shaikh Ayaz under the guidance of Dr. Malik Nadeem & Dr. Adal Soomro
and two candidates are doing M.Phil and Ph.D., many others proposal are under our
consideration. Our worthy Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. A. R. Malik takes most interest in the progress work of Chair. We are encouraging young scholars.
